How Personal Use Software Protects
ZoneAlarm Provides an Effective Safety Net
This software must answer an important question: Will I be as safe and secure as possible on the internet? So, I picked NextGen to get an answer. Part of a familiar name for many years, Extreme Security NextGen offers cross-platform features. Take a look at the different products here. And NextGen works well on both Windows 10 and 11.
After a free 30 day trial that's available, enter payment details and receive an e-mail with downloads (that I didn't need after the trial) and an activation code. Choose any suitable settings to get started. ZoneAlarm handles the rest. A weekly scan is automatically set after the initial scan.
For the iOS (my iphone) get the app from the App Store, enter the Apple password and the ZoneAlarm activation code. This task takes less than 5 minutes, including the download and install. It seems to work well in the background, performing all the necessary tasks.
After a few weeks of use, I like it. In particular, the anti-phishing feature checks for risks by scanning all forms and username/password boxes on every website before I enter any characters. This feature lets me know that I'm logging into a safe site and didn't accidentally type the wrong site name in the browser to begin with. There are more features I describe at a future time.
