How I relax taking one stitch at a time
Taking a break when you're working on a project is advice that's recommended when frustration takes hold. It's time to step away. Knitting and embroidery are two activities for me when I need to change the focus, especially if the weather discourages going outside.
Guaranteed you can't rush through a needlework project or even knitting a scarf. I remember learning to embroider or knit was also a little stressfuI. And quilting is another skill you don't learn quickly. After I completed the cross stitch embroidery, a group of women who are lifelong quilters spent a few months putting the finishing touch on the bedspread.
Note: The bracelet on my right wrist gives direction to paramedics when I can't communicate, although I enjoy excellent health. The message on it is simple: DNR (do not rescusitate). That's my wish.
